How many gigabytes(GB’s) should you get when purchasing an MP3 player?
The first thing you need to determine is the word ‘MP3′. If you are just referring to playing songs from a little player attached to your shirt then that is an MP3 player. If you are looking to play songs with video, or store video clips, these are also referred to as MP3 players though laziness, however, these are Multimedia Players.
MP3 players and multimedia players, come in varies different capacities. They range from 8GB right through to 64GB. As mentioned before, if you are looking for something simple that will play songs whilst going for a run, or walking to a friends house, then 16GB will do. 16GB will store anywhere from 3000 to 16000 songs, as another variable is the size of the MP3 – this is determined by the quality of the song too.
If you are looking for a multimedia player, 32GB is the ideal size these days. This will store your mp3′s, along with about 10 movies, or 100 video clips. Once again, quantities cannot be quoted as there are several factors determining the exact amount of songs and/or video’s/movie’s capable of storing, however rest assured, you will be able to update everything when you want to!
