LCD’s will give you better choice when it comes to screen size as well as more manufacturers make LCD TV’s. If you have a room that is bright you have no choice but to buy and LCD TV. An LCD TV will save you money on your electric bill. LCD TV-s are far more efficient than comparable Plasma televisions. If you plan on playing games or surfing the net with your TV forget about Plasma. Plasma’s have gotten better when it comes to burn in but there is still that potential. LCD TV-s do not burn an image in.
Plasma TV-s will actually save you money compared to LCD TV-s. Take the same sized 720p Plasma TV and compare the price to the LCD you will be amazed how much cheaper the plasma is. Motion blur is a problem when it comes to LCD’s and not Plasma’s. Sporting events and action movies always look better on a Plasma. If you have a bunch of guests over your house watching TV you have better performance from a Plasma regardless of the viewing angle. Finally if you can control the light in the room you cannot beat the picture that a Plasma will give you.
